About AndreaAndrea Thompson is currently Features Director for UK magazine Marie Claire. She previously worked at Grazia magazine where her position as News Features Director saw her securing exclusive news-lead features every week; interviewing, writing, commissioning and editing. Andrea spent four years as a Feature Writer at the Daily Mail where she specialised in both undercover investigative journalism and entertainment features covering celebrity events such as the Cannes Film Festival and Monte Carlo Grand Prix. She has also worked as a staff feature writer at Glamour magazine and Woman and Home and freelanced for a range of women's magazines. More recently Andrea worked on the commissioning desk at Femail (Daily Mail) generating feature ideas, editing copy and commissioning contributors. On a freelance basis she has also generated ideas and written regularly for The Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, Sunday Times News Review, Glamour, Grazia, News of the World (Fabulous), Now and Marie Claire Australia. She specialises in editing and writing real life interviews, undercover investigations into ethical issues, celebrity lifestyle and health features.
